James Dainard chosen as a Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree for 2017.

Bellevue, Wash. – James Dainard of Heaton Dainard, a leading residential investment-based brokerage, has been selected as an honoree for the 2017 Puget Sound Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. This award recognizes business leaders under 40 from across industry sectors who have made exceptional strides in growing their business.

In 2017, Heaton Dainard listed and sold its 1,000th home. An exceptional milestone considering the company was founded only a short seven years ago. In the past year, James has been one of the top 10 brokers in the NWMLS in total sales volume and he is also the youngest. With total sales up 20% from 2015 to 2016 and a 16% increase in client total volume sales in that same year, James credits his success to his full-service investor approach, his ongoing experience as an active real estate investor, and most importantly, the emphasis he places on relationships with both his clients and team members.

“I am pleased, honored, and humbled to receive this acknowledgement. As a leader, I have strived to grow into someone my employees, clients, and the Puget Sound community can look to as both a trusted guide and support system. I believe that the best leaders have a deep understanding of the core of their business, which means they do not only lead but they participate. This means maintaining continual involvement as both a business owner and investor as well as seeking out opportunities to support and mentor others within my community.”

Honorees will celebrate their successes at the 40 Under 40 Award Luncheon Ceremony on September 28, 2017 and will be featured in a special report within the Puget Sound Business Journal. The 40 Under 40 program is celebrating its 19th year as the region’s premier award program that spotlights the top business leaders under the age of 40 who excel in their industry and show dynamic leadership.
